Christianity originated in Judaism, Buddhism, Islam and said the three major religions of the world, it is estimated now 15Billions-21Billions Christian, accounting for 25% -30% of the total world population.Early Christianity is only one church, but in the process of the history of Christianity to differentiate into many factions, mainly Catholic (Chinese can be translated as a Catholic, Roman Catholic), Orthodox, Protestant (Chinese often referred to as Christian) three factions, and some impact on other smaller factions. The Chinese word "Christian" is sometimes used to specifically Protestant, this seems to be the unique phenomenon of the Chinese.
